We are delighted to welcomes York City Taxis into the Take Me network, a long-established and highly respected business based at York Station, operating around 50 vehicles.
This is another exciting step in strengthening our York and North Yorkshire network, joining our existing operations across Pickering, Malton and nearby Catterick — taking the region to over 600 vehicles.
We're looking forward to working closely with Arshad Mahmood (Ash) and the York City Taxis team to grow contract opportunities, support driver recruitment and retention, introduce the Take Me app, and ultimately create more work and opportunities for local drivers.
Ash spent considerable time looking for the right company to collaborate with, and we're incredibly proud he chose Take Me. He recognised our shared values, taxi people working with taxi people, with a focus on looking after drivers, supporting customers, and protecting the strong culture he has built.
