Take Me is delighted to have completed its latest fundraising challenge in support of Childline, part of the NSPCC, with a fantastic hamper now packed full of donated items and ready to help raise money for an important cause.
Haidee Hunter from Childline recently returned to Take Me HQ to meet with Take Me Managing Director Chris Thalha and collect the completed hamper, which will now be used as part of Childline’s
fundraising activities.
The hamper started out completely empty, but thanks to an incredible team effort it has now been filled with a wide range of goodies and prizes.
Take Me drivers, office staff, members of the management team, customers and supporters have all contributed items, turning the original empty basket into a fantastic fundraising prize.
The challenge formed part of Take Me’s continued support for Childline, which celebrates 40 years since it was founded in 1986.
Haidee was delighted with the final result and said:
“Many thanks to everyone at Take Me for all the hard work. This will really help us raise money for such a great cause.”
Chris Thalha, Managing Director of Take Me, added:
“It’s been a real team effort, and we are always pleased to support one of our former Charities of the Year. We always promise that our support is not just for one year, it’s ongoing.”
That ongoing relationship is something Take Me is extremely proud of. While Childline was previously selected as Take Me's Charity of the Year, the company has continued to support the charity through fundraising, awareness and community activity long after the official year ended.
The completed hamper will now be taken away by the Childline team and used to help generate vital funds to support its work with children and young people across the UK.
