Something exciting is about to happen this October. Bridgwater Comedy Club is back, and it is promising one of the biggest nights of the year. The club is well known for giving audiences evenings filled with fun, clever jokes, and endless laughter.
This time, the stage is set for a headliner who has shocked, entertained, and amazed audiences all over the UK. The question is—are you ready for a night where anything could happen?
Bridgwater Comedy Club Presents Simon Brodkin
Headlining this event is the incredible Simon Brodkin, a comedian who has already made his mark in British comedy. Many first knew him as his cheeky alter ego Lee Nelson, but Simon has moved far beyond characters.
His bold pranks have been seen across the world—like when he handed former Prime Minister Theresa May a P45 or threw cash at FIFA president Sepp Blatter. These daring stunts made headlines, but Simon’s true strength lies in his stand-up.
Live on stage, Simon Brodkin is fast, fearless, and funny. His jokes are sharp, his timing is perfect, and his energy fills the room from start to finish. You may have seen him on Live at the Apollo or The John Bishop Show, but nothing compares to experiencing him in person. In Bridgwater, you’ll get the chance to see him at his very best, performing material that is witty, clever, and always packed with surprises.
A Full Line-Up of Top Comedians
Of course, the night is not just about one act. Bridgwater Comedy Club has put together a full line-up of hand-picked comedians to keep the fun flowing. These comics are some of the brightest on the circuit, bringing a mix of clever stories, bold humour, and plenty of crowd interaction. From the first opening joke to the last big laugh, the evening will be bursting with entertainment.
A brilliant professional MC will also guide the show. Their role is to keep the pace lively, connect with the audience, and make sure the night never loses energy. Every act is chosen to deliver something special, which means no two shows are ever the same. That’s what makes this comedy club so popular—it’s always fresh, always exciting, and always full of laughter.
Why Bridgwater Comedy Club Is So Loved
The Bridgwater Comedy Club has built a strong reputation for putting on quality nights that people talk about long after they’re over. Unlike large arenas, the club provides an intimate space where the connection between the audience and the performer feels close. That closeness means every joke lands harder, and the shared laughter feels stronger.
People come from across the area to enjoy these shows because they know they’re getting more than just stand-up—they’re getting an experience. The mix of big names, rising stars, and local support makes every night unique. October’s show, with Simon Brodkin at the top of the bill, will be another highlight in a long line of memorable events.
