“Associated Taxis, Bishop's Stortford's leading Private Hire and Taxi Service provider, widely recognised for its adoption of cutting-edge technology and its advanced passenger app, has officially joined The Take Me Group, becoming part of the UK's largest collective of taxi operators.
Take Me's carefully crafted strategy of uniting a historically fragmented sector enables strong, local firms to retain their trusted identity while gaining access to technical, managerial, and partnership resources that are only available through national-level scale. By joining Take Me, Associated Taxis has secured a significant opportunity to strengthen and grow its position within both the local and wider community – ensuring continuity for its drivers and its customers for years to come.
With the technical support of Take Me's experienced team, Associated Taxis has successfully developed and now operates its own South East Regional operating platform, fully integrated under Take Me's national iCabbi operating system, having recently moved from Cab 9. This development not only enhances efficiency and reliability but opens the door for additional local operators to partner with Associated, uniting services for the greater benefit of passengers and the communities they serve.

David Hunter, CEO of Take Me Group, said:
“This is fantastic news. I am delighted to welcome Associated Taxis to our network and our team. We have been working closely with them to transition from Cab 9 to iCabbi, which went extremely smoothly thanks to the professionalism of our team, led by Liam Brewster, our CITO. Already, we have seen an uplift in job numbers, driver recruitment, and driver retention. We look forward to growing the business together with our wider team and supporting them through our marketing, accounts, and national accounts department via our newly launched Take Me One division. This will also help us aggregate work into this area, which is strategically positioned close to Stansted Airport.
